Crushing and Grinding Experiment of Samples From Çanakkale

Introduction

Engineers went to Çanakkale for a prospecting project for two days. They found some diverse samples to analyze. The main purpose of this study was to discover the Rare-Earth elements in percentage and if they existed in that area. Hence, they brought some samples which were coded as ;

Samples

In the particle-size reduction laboratory, the samples were crushed and ground into the micron size. Firstly, the samples were crushed using the jaw crusher and then ground using the pneumatic disc mill. To create the homogeneity, sampling procedure was done by scoop sampling. A grid framework was generated and packed in sample bags by scooping from every square the same amount.
