Introduction
Huntite is a carbonate mineral that is found in Turkey’s salt lakes and many more places as platy forms. When the huntite is heated, gas is revealed. Hence, the main usage area in the industry of huntite is a flame retardent mixed with hydromagnesite (Wikipedia, 2021). Some of the properties at the below table.

About the Experiment
In the experiment, the sample is analyzed, and the sample consisted of magnesite, hydromagnesite, dolomite, and huntite. The main purpose of the study is to separate the huntite and gain. The hardness of huntite is less compared to other minerals that are consisting together. Hence, from the difference of hardness, the sample is processed.
Firstly, to not to deform the sieve’s surface, the sample is subjected to wet sieving in -100 microns in the Russell Sieve. Then, the sample is classified by crushing the huntite, dolomite, and magnesite respectively into -10, -5, and -1 mm. The sample is screened with the sieve, and undersize material is waited for decantation. The undersize pulp is drained and put in the furnace for drying. Both undersize and oversize materials are sent to analysis after drying.
